Now that we’re all back on campus, we students are all dusting off our planners and looking at what’s due over the next 16 days.
All of our jaws dropped. For a horrible moment our hearts stopped and sunk into our stomachs, overwhelmed by the sheer volume of tasks that needs to be completed before school ends on the 12th. A few of us required defibrillation. I may or may not have been one of that number.
We have struggled our way to this moment. We have climbed the Caradhas and battled goblins, slogged through the Dead Marshes and lost ourselves in Emyn Muil. Now the last stretch of the journey has arrived: the potentially fatal climb up the sides of Mount Doom.
Alright, maybe we’re in no physical peril, but our G.P.A.’s face certain doom if we lose it in these next sixteen days.
It’s times like these that you have to remember that while God may not carry your workload for you, He will carry you.
